Yellow Rail establishes new engineering facility at Litchurch Lane, Derby.

Yellow Rail has officially relocated to Litchurch Lane in Derby, the historic heartland of British rail engineering. This strategic move places the company at the centre of UK rail innovation and manufacturing excellence, providing the capability and capacity to meet its growing demand.

Located within the Litchurch Lane Carriage Works, the new 70,000 sq. ft Yellow Rail Engineering Centre is rail-connected to the Midland Main Line, a vital artery linking South Yorkshire to London, enabling efficient logistics and seamless integration with customer operations.

The facility is fully equipped with two 24-tonne overhead cranes, two 90-metre roads, full pit access, and stabling for up to 20 vehicles, ensuring the infrastructure and scale to support complex rail engineering projects.
